One of the most critical elements to a high performance stereo system is the quality of power being fed to your components. The higher the fidelity and sensitivity of a circuit, the more prone it is to pick up and amplify other sources of noise or interference. Many power supplies are only designed to rectify the AC and smooth out the 50 or 60Hz waveform of the AC mains, and have no other filtration that focuses on the other noise or frequencies that can be measured on the line. This means that this noise can make its way into your system affecting the performance of individual electrical components, or become amplified.

With the rising use of switch mode power supplies, LED lighting, and home appliances, many homes deal with heavily polluted AC power. This can translate to your system not sounding as lively during parts of the day, background noise in quiet passages, or having a higher noise floor that suppresses detail that you aren't even aware of.

Features

The XF3000 is a further refined high current power conditioner with a quad 14 gauge filter network that is fed by dual 10 gauge wiring from the IEC inlet. A ultra high frequency filter has been added and the industrial outlets have been replaced by 6 hospital grade outlets, 4 on the "front" of the unit, and two on the back near the IEC inlet.

Every XF Series power conditioner is built to order by Gilbert Yeung utilizing direct point to point wiring and solder connection wherever possible. Many conditioners use quick connectors and spades that can become loose and become a point of resistance or failure, where every component in a Gilbert Yeung component is solidly connected and also artfully braced throughout with silicone to dampen any vibrations.
