Non-Traditional Enclosures
Non-Traditional Enclosures
One of the greatest benefits to building with silicone is that nothing has a dedicated placing when it comes to building. Every component can be adapted to be mounted in the best location for the workspace. This allows for Angela-Gilbert's sound quality in the Funky series in various reused chassis designs, or even fully custom builds such as the ones pictured here.
If you have a chassis you would like to use for an audio component or are interested in a different non-traditional enclosure, please send me a message to discuss possibilities.
Blue Holstein BBQ Grill Power Amp with Cowboy Sphere - This was a custom commission build subwoofer amplifier with an external power supply for Jason of Audiophile Junkie on YouTube. Watch his zoom call discussing this special amp with Angela-Gilbert Yeung.
Atwater Kent Model 20 / C310 Preamplifier - This chassis originated as a 1920s era Atwater Kent radio. The owner is a professional cabinet maker and did the cabinetry of this piece. It was then sent to Angela-Gilbert to work his magic, installing a C310 preamplifier inside of the box utilizing the original knobs for the selectors and volume.
