D520

The D520 digital to analog converter from Gilbert Yeung is a straightforward, single chassis converter that comes standard with TOSLINK, SPDIF, and AES/EBU input. A USB input option is available at request. 

There is no power switch, this device is designed to be left on at all times for best performance. The only control is the front mechanical input selection switch. 

Output is either single ended, or balanced. An SP jack is preinstalled above the rear IEC for a future plug and play upgrade to the power supply with the purchase of an SP capacitor pack. 

As with many of Angela - Gilbert Yeung's creations, the front faceplate is an artful representation of what the device is, and what it does. A stairstep is cut into the acrylic where it becomes a smooth flowing shape, signifying the conversion of digital signal to analog.
